Reunion giving has never been more important, and our campaign plays an integral, critical role in supporting top university priorities.
Supporting students, fueling groundbreaking research, advancing solutions to societal challenges—there are many ways to honor our 5th reunion year!
Class of 1982 matching gift
When you contribute your first gift of any amount to our 40th reunion campaign, our participation co-chairs will donate an additional $250 to The Stanford Fund.
The $250 match applies to all new donor gifts and pledges through December 31, 2022.
Heartfelt thank you to the generous 1982 participation co-chairs providing this match:
Any gift or pledge you make from January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022, counts toward our campaign and adds your name to the Class of 1982 online honor rolls.
Gifts made through The Stanford Fund provide financial aid, strengthen academic programs, and support student-run organizations that enrich campus life. Equally as important, multiyear pledges and gifts of scholarship work to sustain Stanford’s promise of need-blind admissions, opening doors for deserving students.
However you contribute, together we will make a real difference.
Help us reach our goals by volunteering with our campaign committee—just a few hours of your time makes a big impact. For more information about our campaign, please contact our reunion campaign team.

Gifts to The Stanford Fund
Why I give
I give because I’m grateful for all that Stanford gave me. Our gifts today ensure that the university continues to grow and prosper.
Melissa Foster Fetter, ’82
Stanford opened up a broader world for me, and it continues to do the same for others. I’m proud to be part of the Stanford community, and to do what I can to help the university continue to make the world a better place.
Stan Young, ’82
Stanford transformed me. The community, education, leadership opportunities, and lifelong friendships I forged here have enriched my life, and I’m happy to give back to the place that meant so much.
William M. Matthes, ’82
