Your 2024 Reunion Campaign Report

You did it! You and your fellow alumni came together in 2024 and made great things happen.

The results are in, and we are excited to share that your 2024 “4s & 9s” reunion campaigns inspired more than $289 million in gifts and pledges! That’s an impressive number, but what isn’t captured in this dollar amount is the true impact of your gifts. Your investments will create life-changing opportunities for students, fund groundbreaking research, and support the people and programs working across campus to address the world’s most pressing challenges.

Your generosity reflects your commitment to Stanford's mission and your dedication to the Stanford community. In 2024, reunion classes supported undergraduate education, COLLEGE, community centers, endowed scholarships, Stanford Impact Labs, the Hoover Institution, the Athletics Department, the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI), all seven schools—and, of course, undergraduates through The Stanford Fund.

We want to extend our deepest appreciation for your help in making your campaigns a success. To all the committee members, volunteers, and alumni who gave from the heart—thank you.

Why you gave in 2024

“I think alumni participation is crucial because reunions go beyond fundraising. When alumni step up, they help create a culture of unity and giving back. This helps ensure that future students can enjoy the same enriching experiences we were privileged to have. In many ways, our participation is both a tribute to our past and an investment in the university’s future.”

“My experiences at Stanford were some of the most transformative of my life in shaping who I wanted to be and setting me on a path to achieve that. At Stanford, I built many lifelong friendships and continue to be inspired by the community of alumni and students who believe they can and will make the world a better place.”

“Institutions like Stanford are the bedrock of a democracy. They contribute so much to society, in so many disciplines, with so much innovation, and forge citizens who make a difference.”

Parag Patel, ’89
